According to some of the remains found during the recent renovations, the tiny Church probably originally born from votive offerings made, dates back to the late Gothic period.

The niche was then converted to contain two vaulted ceilings which allow the light to penetrate trough two monofore windows.

The floor dates back the 19th century and the chalk statue of the Saint was donated to the tiny Church on 13th July 1947.

The tiny Church is reachable only on foot (along a 250m path) and by climbing up steep steps built into the ground (33 steps).

The tiny Church as never been consacrated to any particular divinity and is private property.

The tiny Church can be used by those wishing to celebrate or renew their union

WITHOUT ANY DISTINCTION OF

SEX, RACE, LANGUAGE, RELIGION,

POLITICAL VIEWS, PERSONAL OR SOCIAL CONDITIONS

as indicated in article 3, comma 1, of the Italian Constitution.

Whoever wants to celebrate or renew their union should organise:

- a person qualified to perform the ceremony with whatever is needed for the celebration,

- two witnesses (max),

- 3.400,00 Euros for the use of the tiny Church and services.

The person performing the ceremony can use the altar with a surface area of 0.36 sq.m. with an access space of 1.37 sq.m. and a height of 268 cm.

The celebrants and witnesses have an access space of about 2.88 sq.m. (including an area to kneel down on and bench) and a height of 227 cm.

Guests can use the entrance area which is 5.75 sq.m. and the surrounding woodland area.
